What should we wear?
The important thing is that the photos must represent your personalities. Paris is an elegant city and compatible clothes will greatly contribute to more beautiful pictures.
My favourite outfit is a nice suit for him and a beautiful dress for her.
About colours is recommended to have some contrast with your partner or even use ton sur ton. Have the dress or some detail in warm colours, like red, can be a great option because it will pop in the pictures bringing more attention for the couple.
Props like hat, stylish bag, umbrella or even a scarf are very welcome.
We’ll discuss together and I’ll help you define the best options for you considering your own taste and plan.
will we be able to change outfit?
Yes, feel free to take a small bag with your alternative outfits to change into during the session.
I only recommend change outfit for 2h or longer sessions. And I suggest one outfit for each one or two locations, and you can even mix between elegant and casual.
What If it rains?
Paris is beautiful in the rain. There is the possibility of making images with reflections, charming photos with a stylish umbrella, and the light is great for black and white pictures. The city offers many places with covered walkways, galleries, bridges, etc. where we can explore and create beautiful photos.
In Paris the rain normally don’t last long so, if necessary, we can make a few pauses to wait the rain stop. I’ll not consider the breaks on the time of our photoshoot.
However, if you still wish to reschedule, I'll evaluate the availability of a new date to better serve you.
In the unlikely event that the rain is too heavy to work, and it's not possible to reschedule, I'll give you a full refund.
We're not experienced in posing for photos. Will we be guided during the session?
Absolutely! It's part of my job to guide and direct you, while keeping you looking natural and spontaneous. The goal is to have a great time together and leave with a wonderful result.
DO you recommend some make-up and hair artists?
Yes, as soon we start preparing our photoshoot I’ll send you the contact of a few experienced artists so you can decide which one you prefer based on their portfolio and price range.
They’ll meet you and work at your hotel or appartement and you’ll be ready on time for the photoshoot. Even if your session start at sunrise they will know and agree with you the exact time to be at your place.
They are independents and there’s no commission, I just want you have the best professionals for the greatest result for your pictures.
What locations do you recommend?
There’s so many nice places to shoot in Paris. Give a check on the page Locations to see a few places I suggest.
How and when will the photos be delivered?
You'll receive the pictures in about 15 days through an online gallery with password. The images will be delivered in high-resolution and no watermark, you'll be able print with great quality and create photo albums. From this gallery is possible to download to your computer or phone and share the images directly to friends and social networks.
The gallery stays online for 60 days, and you can download the pictures many times you wish, and in many computers you want. There’s no limit. What I recommend is once you download the files you keep a backup on a external hard disk. Anyway I always keep my final pictures so if in the future you loose them just ask me and I’ll be happy to share it again with you ;-)
For proposal and elopement photoshoots you'll receive a sneak peek (3 images) the next day, to share as soon as possible, with friends and family, this great news. The remaining photos within 15 days.
what happens with we don't receive the images in 15 days?
It's rare but it can happens in busy months. In this case you'll receive 2 extra edited pictures for free as a way to compensate the delay.
Where will we meet on the day?
We’ll meet directly on the first location. I’ll give you all the details and map link so you can not miss the place. I’ll be very attentive to my phone and Whatsapp so we‘ll be able to talk if necessary.
How we are going to move from one place to another?
We'll walk between the sites if not far, or take an Uber or Cab (most cases)... or even use the subway if you prefer; Transportation is not included in the package. Normally from one spot to another an Uber costs around 6€ - 18€. Therefore I recommend you take with you an extra pair of comfortable shoes for use while we move from one point to another. If you want you can ask for a private car with driver.
WHAT IS THE PRICE AND HOW DO I PAY?
To know about prices Contact me. The payment is made in two stages: 30% of your session price is charged in order to secure the date. I'll send you an invoice and you''ll be able to pay with your credit card. The remaining amount can be paid on the day of the session in cash (Euros).
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
Each package specifies the number of hours of photography, spots to be visited and the number of digital edited photos that will be delivered.
Items not included in the package: prints, photo books, snacks, transport and props.
WILL YOU SEND US ALL THE OTHERS PHOTOS OF THE SESSION WITH NO TREATMENT?
No, but you can ask for more edited pictures. A pack with 10 extra edited images for only 80€, or 10€ each extra image separately. You can order also all the RAW files from the shoot for 100€.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
The 30% charged at the time of scheduling is to secure the date. However, you can cancel the session with 100% refund of the amount paid if notified at least 14 days before the date of the session, and 50% refund if notified at least 7 days in advance. After this period there will be no refund, except in case of heavy rain and the impossibility to reschedule.
Do you travel to photograph in others cities?
For sure! If you wish to hire me to do a photo session elsewhere in the world, just contact me.
Do you only photograph couples?
No. Although this site is mainly created for couples, I shoot a lot solo books, quinceañera, pregnancy, beauty, and personal projects. Feel free to send me a message and tell me your requirements.
